Today I decided to remember
Remember the life that we lived before this one
When we chose each other and I promised to go first
Promised to lend my body for the creation of his
Promised to be the way-shower, gate-keeper and birther of his time
I don’t know why we agreed on this year
The year my mothering body would feel tired and heavy within a mother earth that is tired and heavy
But I trust him, this boy of mine
I trust the forgotten conversations we had before
I trust myself and my motherhood and my soul that chose and my children that chose too
These children with older souls than mine
These children who know what they’re doing
These children who portaled here to remind me that I know what I’m doing too
When I choose to remember
